General presentation
What to know when you want to settle in Alberta? Here is some useful information about this beautiful province.
Integration journey
The Francophone integration pathway is one of the mechanisms that helps to achieve the vision of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for the success of Francophone immigration.
Frontline services
Although the majority of Francophones live in the major cities of Edmonton (capital) and Calgary (metropolitan area), there are 65 communities where more than 100 Francophones live across the province.
Welcoming community
IRCC’s Welcoming Francophone Communities initiative is a three-year community-based pilot project, in response to the request of Francophone minority communities (FMCs) expressed during the 2015 and 2017 consultations on Francophone immigration.
