Alberta, located in western Canada’s prairie region, officially became a province in 1905. It is made up of great plains, as well as majestic rocky mountains, and is full of national and provincial parks that make it a very attractive province.

Alberta is among the Canadian provinces that have experienced the greatest demographic increase in recent years. It attracts many immigrants thanks to its diversified economy based essentially on livestock, agriculture, hydrocarbons, petrochemical industries and electric energy. It offers a wide range of opportunities for those who choose to settle there, and many programs, whether federal or provincial, allow each immigration candidate to find his account.

The province of Alberta has the largest minority Francophone population in the country after Ontario and New Brunswick. According to the census conducted by Statistics Canada in 2016, 88,220 people in Alberta identify French as their mother tongue, while 268,640 people, including several from across the country and around the world, claim to be able to speak, live and work in French.

Alberta presents immense opportunities for immigrants who choose to settle there, and many have been able to achieve their dreams successfully.

The minimum wage in Alberta is currently 15$ CAD per hour, which makes Alberta one of the most competitive provinces in Canada.

It is possible to arrive in Alberta on a temporary basis, then live there permanently thanks to its Provincial Nominee Program.(information in English only)
